“Where Brooklyn At” brings a timely and relevant product of creative inspiration and historical accuracy to a generation currently suffering iconic famine and seeking educational nourishment. A generation feeding only on the questionable intentions of reality TV along with certain detrimental social media activity and empty film content, combined with a lack of boundaries and accountability in our daily news. “Where Brooklyn At” chronicles Brooklyn’s rich history of Hip-Hop artists and their journey to leave their indelible mark on planet Earth.

Current times demand a hands-on approach to the education of the youth. Who better to guide the audience through an informative, historical and entertainment ride than veteran Actor and one of Brooklyn's own icons, Kadeem Hardison—AKA Professor Dwayne Wayne—of the ever-relevant, trailblazing sitcom "A Different World”? This was the idiosyncratic, politically and socially attuned show from the 80's and 90's that inspired a whole generation to seek higher education. Aside from Mr. Hardison’s cult following, comedic edge, and undeniable charm, he brings an altruistic passion for his beloved borough, Brooklyn. Mr. Hardison serves as narrator and Executive Producer for “Where Brooklyn At”.

This Documentary currently consists of interviews and exclusive concert footage with some of the pioneers of the Rap game like, Big Daddy Kane, DJ Red Alert, MC Lyte, Pete Rock, Buckshot (From Black Moon), Joell Ortiz, Maino, DJ Scratch, Easy Mo Bee, DJ Clark Kent, Jimmy Spicer (aka Super Rhymes) and others. “Where Brooklyn At” intends to tackle a well-rounded wish list of other mainstream Brooklynites such as Chris Rock, Jay-Z, Mos Def, RZA, Spike Lee, Eddie Murphy, Iyanla Vanzant and many more.

Honoring the power of the medium of film, “Where Brooklyn At” is a socially responsible product intending to entertain the masses while educating, encouraging art, and inspiring dreams through sharing a dialogue with many of the brilliant minds that entertain us from all over the mighty “Planet Brooklyn.”

“Where Brooklyn At” promises to be a definitive examination of the cultural Brooklyn connection to global art.
